About Rickie
SWEET 16
Rickie Marasa has been working in Real Estate since she was 16! Her aunt helped her get her first job with Joseph Real Estate in Brooklyn (where her aunt still works to this day). Rickie was taught in the school of hard knocks and the owner had her call potential clients using the New York Times, pen, paper, tape, and a straight blade until she got an appointment. She learned the business inside and out, including how to be persistent and never give up for her clients.
SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP
Rickie attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and got her degree in Fashion Buying & Merchandising. She worked with buyers from top-tiered retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Saks, and Bloomingdales while at Gloria Vanderbilt. The only problem was that she spent all her salary buying the clothes!
THE JOY OF MOTHERHOOD
Raising her three wonderful kids is what she's proud of most! She could never have imagined the joys that being a mother could bring before having children, Rickie's kids are all warm, caring, responsible young adults attending the top Universities Florida has to offer. It can get difficult when cheering on her favorite college sports teams though - she has to be careful who to root for! Florida State University, University of Florida, and the University of Central Florida are three big rivals in the college sports arena.

BUBBLE GUM AND GOODIE BAGS
Rickie has been in the Northern Palm Beaches since 2002 and knows the area extremely well, particularly Mirasol Country Club where she raised her family. She loves walks on the beaches, nature, and the vibrant colors that the Florida lifestyle has to offer. Helping turtles she finds on the roads to cross the street is something she will stop traffic for. Upon her return to Real Estate she has held the position as sales manager and managed multi office locations and hundreds of Realtors. Her true love though is returning to her roots and the skills that she learned at 16. Working one-on-one with a Buyer or Seller brings her the most satisfaction. It’s all about the little things, like buying bubble gum and goodie bags for kids when showing a home when working with young families. The joy on a client’s face when they find their dream home is what it’s all about. Let Rickie go to work for you. Just tell her what flavor gum you like best in advance!
