Chris graduated in Florida before returning to his home state of Massachusetts. He worked as a sales manager with Verizon for two decades, overseeing 24 stores and managing 100+ employees. As a scratch golfer, Chris is a familiar and welcome face at the most prestigious courses in the Palm Beaches. While in Massachusetts, he worked his way up the ranks of the Massachusetts Golf Association where he competed on the tournament circuit and participated in many state amateur championships. Now how did Chris find SeaGlass for his clients? I interviewed Chris to find out.
Almost 2 1/2 years ago, some new clients wanted oceanfront property directly on the sand. North Palm Beach County was their #1 choice. They had explored the West coast of Florida as well, and after some time, made the decision the East coast was their preference.
We started out touring Singer Island and a couple of buildings on Jupiter Island. They really liked the beauty and privacy of Jupiter Island. However, we just could not find the right product. A year later, they came down again and were prepared to give Singer Island a closer look, although I knew from their body language and sense of excitement that JI was really their first choice from our previous visit the year prior.
I am an avid bike rider and my travels generally take me along the coast of Jupiter Island because of the beauty and privacy of the island. One particular day while riding, I noticed a sign that I had never seen before, on a fence that said, “Coming Soon” SeaGlass…Luxury Condominiums. I was very intrigued and immediately thought of my clients.
Two months later while they were in town visiting Singer Island and potentially making an offer on a new construction project, I had told them what I found on Jupiter Island and asked if they may want to see where and what it was that I had uncovered. In the meantime, I had had several conversations with the builder/GC of the building at Sea Glass and told them I may have someone who will want to hear more on that project, understanding of course it was still 2-3 years away from completion. That was at 12:30 on a Thursday back in March of 2018. I picked my clients up an hour later and we met “Phil” at the location and spent two hours with him going over the very infant plans of the 21-unit building.
Well after 4 more trips down over those 2 years, and a half dozen meetings with “Phil” and the actual developer from Miami, we signed a contract back in January of this year for the Penthouse unit.
Needless to say, my clients think I am a “GOD” for finding them this very special property. They are over the moon excited and have sent me another client that is showing major interest in the same development as well.
Simply by knowing my area and what products are at my disposal, I can educate and assist all my clients whether it be a 150,000 single family home or a 10M oceanfront property. I do not discount service to discounted homes. I receive as much joy helping every client whatever the price range. I am passionate at what I do, and my clients recognize that.
