Phil Gazzo is not only the nicest guy; he knows the area inside and out and his resume is top notch. He worked his way up from Divisional Sales Manager at New York Life to National Sales Manager, then to CEO and President at Allmerica Financial Group. Phil was able to broker deals between major financial institutions and knows how to close a deal. Phil has consistently achieved in challenging environments to grow and develop new business, enhance relationships, generate revenue, and guide and mentor his colleagues. Phil can understand what the person across from him is looking for and zero in on the commonalities. He knows that sometimes you need the ability to take 2 steps back to take a step forward and find another approach to get the deal done.
FLORIDA STATE OF MIND
Phil Gazzo was born and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey where he met his wife, Mary. They moved to Florida in 2005, but Phil has been visiting the area for decades. Phil and his parents vacationed yearly to Singer Island dating back to 1964 so you can kind of say he’s a local. Phil has seen the Real Estate boom in South Florida over the years especially when it comes to Singer Island. Phil and Mary settled in Palm Beach Gardens in the country club community of BallenIsles. Phil’s second love is boating, and he has traveled to the Bahamas many times aboard his 30-foot rampage boat.
PHIL'S HOBBY IS TO GIVE BACK
Phil loves to give back to the community. He is involved in many charitable organizations including Kairos International, St. Paul the Cross on Singer Island, and is on the board of directors for St. Vincent de Paul. He helps collect food for the local food pantries, deliver groceries to the less fortunate, and packs meals for local senior centers. He finds it very rewarding to give kindness and compassion to others. Phil is an excellent relationship builder and can bond with those he meets. Phil is able to deal with stressful situations and realizes the emotional aspect of the Real Estate process. He has empathy, compassion and patience in dealing with situations. He is someone you want to know because he is so positive.
Phil accredits his work ethic to his father. His dad worked a blue-collar job selling furniture and worked side jobs to provide for the family. Phil’s dad taught him that in order to be successful you need to apply yourself. Sitting back and waiting for success to come will do just that, have you sitting and waiting. Phil is result-oriented and knows you need to strive for what you want, and put in the hours to accomplish your goals.
