Jim Flynn has more Real Estate experience than most and he understands what business is like across the country and throughout the world. He was a corporate relocation expert with Sirva and moved executives and managers across the USA as well as abroad. This gives him a unique & expert perspective on negotiation and relocating to Florida. “I understand the needs, wants and stress that different types of people feel. My negotiation style is ‘co-operation backed up with data & analytics’, where the latter often tends to have less weight as we get closer to a mutual compromise.”
TEAM PLAYER
Jim Flynn has been coming to Palm Beach County since 1998 when the first member of his family purchased property here. Whilst he loved growing up in Cleveland, the weather and outdoor lifestyle here had much more to offer him. Jim played college football and he found the structure an incredible experience. His biggest takeaway was working as a team and finding solutions via that teamwork. It has helped him with understanding the needs of clients, strategizing with them to accomplish goals, and building the communication necessary within the negotiation from explaining contracts to exceeding expectations.
A HELPING HAND AND A FRIENDLY EAR
Jim Flynn loves to help. His natural empathy combines seamlessly with hard facts to help explain all the options and potential outcomes to his clients. He coaches Real Estate and counsels on outcomes to help make critical decisions easier. One of Jim’s best skillsets is listening. “Listen listen listen. And then learn - make sure you are understanding the critical emotions and not just the words.” Miscommunication with texting and technology happens every day to everyone. Jim knows that having an awareness of others’ feelings is critical to making decisions in buying and selling. Sometimes helping others is “immeasurable” because you cannot calculate or put a # to perseverance, character, loyalty, and empathy. “Everyone needs help navigating the winding roads of life so oftentimes we must be truly in tune with what our clients are going through to ensure we get things right. “
ROLE MODEL
Jim comes from a family of 5. Both his parents worked multiple jobs, and both were role models to him. “I put my clients in a position of strength and treat them like family. Real Estate has many moving parts and folks are busy with life. I have to protect them in the transaction in anticipation of the many hurdles we have to jump. Plus, I truly enjoy learning about people, their families, and how they have navigated life. That understanding has helped me throughout my life in how to communicate, understand, and negotiate for a win-win outcome.”
