Within the Country Club at Mirasol is the largest single community called Porto Vecchio. It is comprised of two sections, Porto Vecchio West and Porto Vecchio East. The western side has 40 homes and the eastern side has 95 homes, although both sections share a common entrance that passes between the 2nd and 3rd holes of the Sunrise golf course. The Sunrise is one of two Mirasol courses with the other being the Sunset that winds through the homes on the western side of the club.
Leaving Mirasol Way, the main east/west artery through the club, you turn onto Porto Vecchio Drive for just a block before turning either east or west. Heading west you will find homes overlooking the lake and fairway of the Sunrise second hole, a dangerous par-4. Across the street the homes look onto vast natural areas. Homes on the eastern side wind along the par-3 third hole and the par-4 fourth hole as well as lakes and other preserve areas. Mirasol is known for the vast preserve areas that dot the landscape and the 5 miles of hiking and bicycling paths that interlace these areas. The preserve areas attract some of our most glamorous wading birds like great egrets, great blue herons and overhead ospreys and eagles.
What makes Palm Beach Garden homes different, in addition to the number of homes to choose from, is these are single story homes of about 3,000 square feet. Most are 3 bedroom floorplans. Naturally, in a community like Mirasol the homes have very high ceilings with crown molding, marble floors, granite counters, stainless appliances and custom window treatments. Although all the homes in Porto Vecchio have private pools, the central location of this community will make using the Olympic size pool at the Esplanade Fitness and Spa, a snap for your out-of-town company. The Clubhouse is certainly close enough to visit via your private golf cart.
