During the last 50 years, most of the development in South Florida has been limited to single use zoning where housing was separate from businesses and schools and all were interconnected by highways requiring the use of cars to navigate between them. A by-product of single-use zoning has been the suburban sprawl found throughout much of South Florida. Abacoa in Jupiter was designed to return the ‘work, live, and play in one place’ idea, so popular in years gone by, to the mainstream of family life.

One of the communities specifically designed to integrate the different areas of your life is Greenwich. With 269 units, Greenwich is one of the largest neighborhoods within Abacoa real estate. Townhomes here are 3 stories with work/live facilities as one of the main attractions. They range in size from about 1,600 square feet to nearly 1,800. Some of the homes have views of preserve areas and lakes.

Greenwich might be a good choice for a person who works from home and needs a home office as the buildings and codes allow for professionals to maintain a space on the first floors to meet clients. The location right on Military Trail also provides easy access for clients.

As with everything in Jupiter, the Greenwich townhomes are close to everything. Our beaches are a 5-minute drive to the east. The famous Jupiter Lighthouse and Jupiter Inlet are only 10 minutes away. And the cultural center of West Palm Beach and the International Airport are just 15 minutes to the south.

As for shopping and dining, Palm Beach Gardens which has numerous restaurants and the famous Gardens Mall is just 10 minutes away. All schools are part of the Palm Beach County system and there are four in or near Abacoa.
