In central Jupiter you will find the carefully planned community of Abacoa which integrates the parts of daily life such as work, school, recreation and entertainment into one area. The concept is a response to the suburban sprawl throughout much of South Florida and allows residents to focus their lives in a more concentrated area.

One of the more interesting concepts in Abacoa is the use of the “live/work” space where, in three story units, the first floor could be devoted to a home office and the upper floors used as the main living area. One of the 15 communities in Abacoa to utilize this is Osceola Woods.

There are 146, three-story townhouses in Osceola Woods that range in size from about 1,800 square feet to about 2,000 with floorplans that have a live/work room on the first floor, expansive kitchen and living area on the second and two bedrooms on the third floor. These units are more luxurious than others in Abacoa and feature granite or Corian counters, some have hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances and a community pool. Many of the office spaces on the first floor have been converted to media rooms. The neighborhood is adjacent to one of the preserve areas Abacoa is famous for and the units have views of this space.

Abacoa provides recreational amenities for residents like baseball at the Roger Dean Stadium where the Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals have Spring Training, golf at the Abacoa Golf Club, a weekly green market in the Town Center, concerts and restaurants.

Abacoa real estate is centrally located in Jupiter and the four schools that are within Abacoa or adjacent to it are all part of the Palm Beach County System and are “A” rated. Our famous beaches are about 5 minutes to the east and the shopping and dining of Palm Beach Gardens are only 10 minutes to the south.
