Abacoa is a carefully planned community of 15 distinct neighborhoods designed to incorporate the needs of daily life such as living, working and playing into one integrated master plan. This integration was planned as a response to the suburban sprawl found in most of South Florida. One of the neighborhoods combining single family homes and townhouses is Martinique homes.
Homes in Martinique offer townhouses with floorplans ranging in size from around 1,600 feet to over 2,000 and featuring three and four bedrooms with both two and three full baths and powder room. Single family homes start at 1,762 square feet with three bedrooms and two bedrooms and go up to five bedrooms with four and a half baths with over 5,000 square feet. The homes here were built during the 2005-2006 period. These homes also may offer 3-car garages, Saturnia floors, private pools and impact glass. The largest homes are two-storied and also feature crown molding, granite counters and top-of-the-line appliances and are among the largest in Abacoa real estate. The community of Martinique consists of 456 homes altogether.
The homes here are centrally located in Jupiter and the beaches, Roger Dean Stadium, Abacoa Golf Club and Abacoa Town Center are just 5- 10 minutes away. The amenities within Abacoa are within walking or bicycling distance.
Four schools are located in or adjacent to Abacoa: Beacon Cove Intermediate School, Independence Middle School, Lighthouse Elementary School and Jupiter Middle School. The high schools nearby are Jupiter High School and Dwyer High School and all of these schools are part of the Palm Beach County School District. In addition, Abacoa is home to the Jupiter branch campus of Florida Atlantic University and the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College.
