In the southern end of the Caribbean Sea lies the sovereign state of St Vincent and the Grenadines. The island is 150 square miles and is made up of the main island of St Vincent and 32 smaller islands of the Grenadines, some of the smaller islands are inhabited, many are not. To the north of St Vincent is St Lucia and to the east is Barbados.

St Vincent is an island paradise unspoiled by masses of tourists with mainly white sandy beaches and crystal-clear water, although Kingstown beaches offer black sands. With so many islands to explore boat enthusiasts are in their element! Its not just about beaches though, here you can climb a volcano, explore refreshing waterfalls, and enjoy great hiking routes.

Notable places on this glorious island include Fort Charlotte that stands on a 660-foot-high ridge, this military post is a great for admiring the view of town and the Grenadines. Kingstown offers an 18th century botanical garden, the Tobago Cays is the destination for snorkeling and diving with five small uninhabited islands that are a great spot with coral reefs and diverse marine life, and La Soufriere is an active volcano that attracts the adventurers as a great climbing destination.

Dining and entertainment are everywhere on the island with small downtown village eateries or fine dining restaurants, local food and fresh catches are usually the dish of the day. While the island doesn’t have a club scene there are plenty of bars or “holes in the wall” where you can enjoy a relaxed drink and maybe a shot or two of rum.

Real estate options here include beachfront homes along the shores of Palm Island, villas nestled in the hills of Bequia, or apartments in the town of Kingstown. Land options are available giving you the opportunity to build the home of your dreams in a spot that is perfect for you. One thing you can guarantee with St Vincent and the Grenadines is an idyllic island with an unhurried pace of life.
