Trinidad and Tobago is the southern most island country in the Caribbean Islands made up of the two main islands plus several smaller islands. This incredible island is one of the most industrialized nations in the Caribbean and does not solely rely on the tourism trade allowing for large expanses of the country to be untouched, pristine natural areas.

Three mountain ranges sprawl across Trinidad and Tobago with wonderful scenic areas perfect for hiking, biking, and exploring. The views are incredible! The Northern Range features many waterfalls, the Central Range extends diagonally across the island with swampy areas and rolling hills, and the Southern Range is mainly low hills with areas rich in wildlife. Along with the sprawling mountains Trinidad and Tobago is also known for its gorgeous beaches, beautiful coral reefs, golf courses, and goat racing!

Port of Spain is the capital city; what was once a muddy seaport is now home to a thriving cultural scene with a diverse nation of people. The busy downtown features commercial centers, artistic flare, and some amazing architecture such as the Roman Catholic Cathedral built in 1832 with beautiful stained-glass windows. Other striking buildings include the National Museum and the National Library. Visit the city during carnival season and enjoy the extravagant celebrations with costumes, steel drums, and traditional music.

Explore the city by foot and soak up the local atmosphere with locals playing chess under the trees and free street performances in the square. The Waterfront Center dominates the western part of the Brian Lara Promenade with a luxurious hotel, a waterfront park, shops and more.

The city is also home to plenty of green open spaces such as the 260-acre area of The Queen’s Park Savannah, which also holds the accolade of being the oldest recreation ground at 180 years old.

Real estate options in Trinidad and Tobago are varied from a house in the city or something more rural, to low maintenance or an estate with amenities, or a home with a view or a new build on acquired land, there is something for everyone.
