You can own a classic “old Florida” home in historic downtown West Palm Beach at Vista Encanto. Many of the homes for sale were built in 1931 in the old Spanish style. New homes have been built in Vista Encanto since that time, up to the 1990s. The old Spanish homes were built of frame/stucco and the newer ones are CBS construction. Therefore you have a diverse choice of architectural styles for your new home. This great neighborhood is in the Dixie Highway area off of Southern Boulevard. Many of these West Palm Beach homes have been renovated and redesigned inside. Some original design touches remain in the older dwellings, such as wood floors, fireplaces, and wall treatments. Other homes may need some tender loving care, but can be bought for a lower price. Vista Encanto is a great neighborhood for young couples or families just starting out or as an investment property for rental income.
