Located close to downtown Stuart is the condominium community of Poppleton Creek. Two sections make up this community; the first was built in 1974 and offers traditional condos of one- and two-bedroom models. The second section was completed in the early 1980’s and these are more like townhomes with two bedrooms, this newer section is referred to as the Gardens at Poppleton Creek.
Some units have wonderful views out across the Poppleton Creek and docks are available for smaller boats that can travel under the Palm City road bridge. The Poppleton Creek allows you to access the ocean through the St Lucie River.
A HOA fee applies with some restrictions, for instance you can park motorcycles and small pickup trucks, but no commercial vehicles are allowed. One pet under 35lbs is also permitted.
Children of the area will attend great schools of Martin County that include J.D Parker School of Technology, Stuart Middle, and Jensen Beach High.
Just a short distance will see you in downtown Stuart where you can enjoy shopping, fine dining and entertainment. Enjoy the river walks along the St Lucie River and for local culture attend the weekly Green Market on the banks of the river.
Stuart has many condo communities some of which include Royal Oak Towers, Half Mile Lake Condo, Fairway Palms, and Crestwood Condo.
