Olympia is a family friendly neighborhood in right in the center of Hobe Sound. The homes are affordable single-family homes with garages and spacious yards. It is a great place to find a home to do up and make your own!
At the center of Olympia are the lovely Zeus and J.V Reed Parks. They are great places to spend the day playing various sports. There are four tennis courts, baseball diamonds, basketball courts soccer fields and plenty of room for other field sports and picnicking.
The Greenfield Park is under two miles away, you can fish off the pier, then use the grill in the pavilion to cook your haul on.
If you need to go shopping you have the Market Place at Hobe Sound and Island Crossing shops right next door! There you will find all the shops and services you need such as a Publix Super Market, Redbox, hairdresser/barber shops, Anytime Fitness, Sunoco Gas Station, Wells Fargo Bank, Winn-Dixie, mechanics, hardware shops, McDonalds, Catfish House and plenty more great restaurants. The Hobe Sound Elementary School is also very close by.
Take a day trip to the beautiful Jonathan Dickinson State Park, is just an 8-minute drive away. If you like hiking visit the highest point in South Florida, Hobe Mountain, then take in the magical views at the Hobe Mountain Observation Tower. There are also both paved and off-road biking, equestrian and hiking trails. There is also access to the water so you can go boating, canoeing, and kayaking along the river.
The US-1 runs along the edge of Olympia, so you can get to where you are going in no time. In just 20-minutes you can get to Tequesta or head North for 25-minutes to get to Palm City.
Other communities with affordable home options are Lyons, Little Village and Chuckwagon Village.
