The long and Winding Road by the Beatles could very well have been a song to describe, The Shores of Jupiter homes. Constructed in the mid 1980’s, the homes of The Shores are just a setback for the natural preserves, oaks, palms, wetlands, and lakes. The natural setting is the real show.
Jupiter Shores homes are just a mile north of Indiantown Road. The entrance is a scenic drive of sidewalks, grassy areas, trees, and lakes with fishing and small boats in the backyard. A total of 136 acres of lakes and preserve grace this 395 acre community.
The real estate lots here are larger than what you would get today. Large backyards and space between homes make this a true family development. Residents kayak, sailboat and fish on the lakes. A children’s playground donated by Kuretski Park has swing sets and all sorts of fun for kids while adults can sit on the benches. One of many nature trails with mulched baths is directly behind it. Perfect for bike riders, joggers, or walking the family pet. Watching the native birds and Florida wildlife is always a treat.
Jupiter Shores was developed by many different custom builders which is why homes don’t have that Disney World sameness cookie cutter atmosphere. A mixture of families, snowbirds, and empty nesters reside in The Shores. Homeowner Association fees are low and with no clubhouse or community pool or expensive gate, they plan to stay that way.
Homes can range from charming 2,000 square foot ranches to 4,000 square foot estates with luxury media rooms and incredible resort style swimming pools. 6 luxury gated security communities or subdivisions are within the community off of Longshore. They are Cypress Cove, Hidden Lake, Loxahatchee Estates, Northfork, Shorewood Estates and the Preserve at Jupiter. Jupiter has the best in “A” rated schools. Indiantown Road leads to I95-Turnpike for quick PBI Airport access or easy communities to downtown Palm Beach or Stuart. Restaurants and shopping galore are right outside the community. The beach and many yacht marinas are also nearby.
