Imperial Woods, Jupiter, FL Homes for Sale

Jupiter is a community made up of many small and personal neighborhoods.  Although most are built on typical suburban home sites, there is one in which the homes are built on wooded, one acre sites.  These are the 47 homes in Imperial Woods. Imperial Woods is located on the northern side of Jupiter and along the western bank of the Loxahatchee River and off Loxahatchee River Road.  Here along one of our most scenic roads a community of unique homes was constructed between the mid-1980’s up through the mid-1990’s.  These Jupiter homes are not the typical Mediterranean inspired style so common in our newer communities but instead reflect an architectural style more reminiscent of the Carolinas or New England.  There was a lot of wood used in the construction for decks, loggias and gazebos.  Many driveways, patios and summer kitchens use Chicago brick for the warmth the texture brings to a design.

Homes here typically have private, heated pools although there are some without them.  The homes are both one and two story and range in size from three bedroom, two bath floor plans with about 2,000 square feet all the way to over 6,000 square feet with both five and six bedrooms.

Imperial Woods has always been popular with families due to the quiet nature of the community, the large home sites and the “A” rated Jupiter schools.  All Jupiter schools are located within just a couple of miles.

The main area of the Town of Jupiter is only about 3 miles away and there you will find the Town Hall, Jupiter Community Center, the North County Aquatic Center, the Public Library, the Post Office and the Jupiter Medical Center.  And our famous beaches are about a 10 minute ride to the east along Indiantown Road.
