Fernwood Creek, Jupiter, FL Homes for Sale

The Town of Jupiter is an interesting place to live and one of the reasons is the fact that rivers, creeks and tributaries divide the land into small parcels.  One of these small parcels has been developed into Fernwood Creek.

Located just off one of our major historic streets, Center Street, where the town really sprang up, homes in Fernwood Creek are mainly three bedroom, two bath models with about 1,500 to around 2,000 square feet although some have been built recently that are as large as 4,000 square feet.  A couple of historic homes are located here as well having been built in the 1920’s.  Most do not have private pools although some do.  This Jupiter real estate is popular for two reasons.

First, although it is located right in the heart of town, most of the homes are on one of the small waterway that meanders through Jupiter.  This means you have 5 feet of clearance at high tide and that is the only thing between you and the Inlet and Atlantic Ocean.  A modest size boat can still pass under a bridge like this.  When most waterfront homes in this area command prices near a million dollars, these are great values.

Second, Fernwood Creek is very close to everything.  For example, all schools are Jupiter’s “A” rated schools and Jupiter High School and Jupiter Elementary are less than 2 miles away.  Jupiter Middle School is about 4 miles away.  Also less than 2 miles away are the North County Aquatic Center, the Public Library, Town Hall and the Jupiter Community Center, the Post Office and the Jupiter Medical Center.  And our famous beaches, the hub of life in Jupiter, are only about 10 minutes east just over the Intracoastal Waterway.
