Ving Rhames’ Double Mansion Home

American film actor, Ving Rhames, perhaps best known for his role as mob boss Marsellus Wallace in “Pulp Fiction,” and for his work in the Tom Cruise “Mission Impossible” movies, makes his home at two adjoining estates in Los Angeles. The actor, from New York, purchased the estate at 12935 Vicente Boulevard with his wife Deborah for $4.75 million in 2000, but not content with only owning one mansion on the block, he bought the property next door in 2005 for $6.5 million.

The first home has 10,613 square feet, 7 bedrooms, and 8 baths, while the second home has an additional 12,947 square feet with even more bedrooms and bathrooms than the first house to accommodate numerous family members and his many dogs. The complex also includes a private tennis court, swimming pool, and reflecting pool.

In 2007, Rhames received negative publicity when the caretaker for his dogs was found dead between a guest house and one of the main homes on the sprawling property. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said it was possible the victim died of a heart attack or other medical condition, but the man’s body had received multiple bite wounds from the dogs. Media reports said the attack was “horrific” and said that the man was found the next day by a relative of Rhames.

Rhames shares the home with his second wife, Deborah Reed, their two children, daughter Reignbeau and son Freedom, as well as Reed’s daughter from a previous marriage, Tiffany. Rhames also has two bull mastiffs which each weigh around 200 pounds and two English bulldogs. Neighbors said Rhames and his daughter often played outside with the dogs.

Rhames is currently filming the upcoming movie Bastards, due out in late 2016.
