It has been nearly 16 years since we have sold a home. In the past, we have done so without the help of a realtor, by owner. However, in this case, we could not be available to coordinate showings, so the search was on. After interviewing several candidates, we settled on Charlie. His knowledge of our neighborhood and enthusiasm regarding our sales potential sealed the deal for us. To be honest, I thought his representations that he thought our home would sell quickly was more marketing than substance. But, we were wrong! We began prepping the house for showing on December 6th. After negotiation, a cash offer was accepted. After a crazy busy holiday, we had a successful closing on January 6th, literally one month start to finish! Although we did not need “hand-holding,” we did need support, as our new home was 2-1/2 hours away. Charlie took care of the expected bumps in the road, including the inspection check-list. He was always present when anyone was at the residence to protect our interests. He advocated for us on all negotiations, keeping our stress at reasonable levels.
