Sunshine Ranches was originally a place on its own in Broward County but in 2000 it was incorporated into the town of Southwest Ranches and now serves as a neighborhood. The area of this neighborhood covers 4.2 square miles and is the perfect community for equestrians. Within the limits of Sunshine Ranches, you will find numerous farms, stables, and equestrian facilities such as Sunshine Ranches Equestrian Park. This fantastic facility is 20 acres of lushly landscaped grounds and features a large equestrian practice ring, a show ring, 10 acres of horse trails, a scenic wetland and preserve, and a picnic pavilion.
