Ranch Colony is gated community located approximately 4 miles west of I-95 and the Turnpike in Jupiter Florida. Spread over 2,000 acres of some of the most beautiful countryside Ranch Colony is known for wide open spaces with secluded residences, and has a natural and tranquil setting with luxurious homes. This 24-hour manned, gated community features 257 custom built homes, built in the 1960’s of CBS construction, and is spread out over five distinct subdivisions. Features include golf courses, large equestrian facilities, hangars, and even a landing strip for planes. No other community provides home sites that span from three quarters of an acre to over 100 acres. Many of the homes here feature their own private resort style swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, covered lanais, and summer kitchens.

The five subdivisions within Ranch Colony are; Tailwinds, Ranch Estates, Ranch Acres, Old Trail and The Links.

Tailwinds subdivision is an airpark community designed by pilots for pilots with a 2,700-foot lighted and paved runway suitable for small planes and jets. Homes are located on 5-7-acre sites with hangers that can also accommodate RVs and additional vehicles. All homes have access to the runway whether it be direct or indirect. You don’t need to own a plane to live here but most people do.

Ranch Estates contains 36 homes on sites from 20-50-acre ranches and is perfect for equestrian lovers and cattle ranchers. Here you will find that homes are built with the best in custom design from wood, marble, and stone building materials, top shelf appliances, and often some additional extras such as wine storage rooms, game rooms, home theaters, patios, and more. Properties in this subdivision can exceed values of $12 million.

Residents of Ranch Acres have the best of both worlds. Homes are built on mini ranches that range in size from 5-12-acre sites. The 40 homes here come with pastures, stalls, barns, kennels, riding arenas, and plenty of space to build. The surroundings are some of the most beautiful countryside with pristine lakes, green open pastures, and natural preserves. This truly is the perfect home for equestrian lovers.

Ranch Colony’s Old Trail subdivision is perfect for the golf enthusiasts. This community features approximately 74 properties and homesites range from three quarters of an acre to one and a half acres with some of the most stunning views of the golf course and waterways that surround it. Residents can enjoy two courses designed by Arthur Hills and Tom Fazio, and membership with the Jonathan’s Landing development. Membership is not mandatory for residents but is required to play the courses.

Finally, the Links subdivision, which again is perfect for the keen golfer. Residents are surrounded by an 18-hole Pete Dye designed golf course. There are 51 Homesites here that range in size from 1-5 acres and offer privacy and seclusion. Membership is optional but perfect for those who want to play a challenging course. The Dye course awaits the serious golfer.

Children who reside in Ranch Colony can attend excellent A rated Martin County Schools such as Crystal Lake Elementary School, David Anderson Middle School, and South Fork High School.
