Instead of whining about it, she took the initiative to get a summer job and save up money so she could buy them herself. “My parents taught me that if you truly want something, you have to earn it. Nothing is handed to you for free,” Riki reminisces fondly. This core belief helped her build a lengthy and incredibly fulfilling career in sales, both inside and outside the Real Estate industry. A graduate of Columbia College in her home city of Chicago, she earned a degree in Marketing Communications. She first put her skills and degree to use when she worked among over 500 sales representatives at Kinkos and Office Max, consistently ranking among the top 10 percent! She later worked for Lexis-Nexis selling legal research solutions before moving towards her true passion, Real Estate!
