Tiger’s Yacht May Be On The Block! | Divorce Is Expensive!

The family and celebrity lifestyle of Tiger Woods continues to make news here in north Palm Beach County. The real estate market on Jupiter Island was given an economic shock treatment when Tiger bought the estate of the tire magnate Chuck Curcio, and several surrounding properties, then demolished the main home and combined the properties to make one large compound complete with practice facility for his ailing golf game.

Then he built a mansion/compound for his mom over in Jupiter, giving that area’s construction industry another shot in the arm. Pictures of this house are floating around the Internet.

Next, the local real estate market was buzzing when the ex-Mrs. TW was checking out condo penthouses on Jupiter Island, just a short drive from his above-mentioned compound. The unit she was looking at had a rooftop patio & bar and one of the most spectacular views up the Island. Although this was an incredible place, last week we learned she purchased an oceanfront mansion in Seminole Landing in North Palm Beach for a reported $12.2 million. Speculation arose about why Seminole Landing? My theory is that it is very private and protected and the Tiger cubs and mom can go out on the beach and be beyond the reach of even the longest telephoto lens.

Today, word is out that Tiger is shopping for a broker for his 155-ft yacht ‘Privacy’, which has been moored in North Palm since his domestic troubles started. The asking price will be a reported $25 million. That’ll help towards the reputed $100 million he has to pay Elin. Recently, the yacht was moved to Ft. Lauderdale to undergo painting on the deck and hull. I have walked next to this yacht and can tell you the finish is gleaming!

All things considered, Tiger and his miscellaneous endeavors are still good for business, whether that is golf, construction, yacht brokerage, or divorce attorneys.
