Spotlight on Rich Ruggerio | Frenchman’s Creek’s Golf Starter

Say hello to Rich Ruggerio, Frenchman’s Creek golf starter since 1988. Rich hails from Jamestown, New York. He and his wife Emily moved down here in 1988.

Rich and Emily have 3 children and 4 grand children aging from 3-19. Previous to Frenchman’s Creek, Rich was involved in managing the food services for the Montreal Expos minor league system. Rich also spent 18 years with the US Postal Service in New York. Rich is a sand bagging 8 handicap, although he doesn’t pick up a club until mid April when he travels back North for the season. If you haven’t had the pleasure to meet Rich, stop by the starter shack and say hello. Rich is extremely personable and will tell you as many stories as you have time to hear. Chances are very good you will have a good belly laugh from all his experiences in life and the people who have crossed his path. Enjoy!!!!
