Nextdoor.com Can Connect You With Your Tequesta Community

As a Tequesta homeowner, resident, and Realtor, I find it extremely important to know what it going on in my community and the surrounding area and neighborhoods. As you know, the news only mentions and reports on limited topics and areas.

There is a new online social community network called NextDoor.com. This website allows homeowners to connect with their community and nearby surrounding communities in an effort to communicate and relay information about local events, services, safety, concerns, and anything in general.

It only takes one person to start up this website for their own community. Just visit Nextdoor.com, create an account, and put in your address. If someone in your community has already set it up, then you can easily join just by verifying your information. Otherwise, you can become the “Lead” for your community and start up the website. There is no money involved and anyone can invite their neighbors to join, either by email, postcards (which Nextdoor.com sends out for free), and/or by word of mouth.
