Get yourself to Riverbend Park, whether it’s your first visit or if it’s time for you to rediscover this gem in our community. The next-door neighbor to Jupiter Country Club, Riverbend Park is an oasis of nature and wildlife located along the Loxahatchee River, Florida’s first nationally designated wild and scenic river. There are 5 miles of waterways and 15 miles of trails and access roads within the 680 acres at your disposal.

There is something for everyone! On any given day, you can see a multitude of people enjoying the park in their own creative way. On my recent visit, I witnessed people biking, canoeing, running, fishing, hiking, and picnicking…even someone doing some yoga! You can also bring your horse and ride one of the 5 equestrian loop trails. For a fun adventure, it’s a great spot for a good, old-fashioned family camping trip.

Construction and improvements are underway to make the park an even better place to visit and explore. Improvements include the construction of a new building which will house staff offices and public restrooms. The entrance will be revamped to include paved parking spaces and a plaza/overlook for the adjacent Battlefield Park. Hidden improvements will be underground utilities, which will connect the improvements to the Town of Jupiter’s water and sewer system. Construction began in September and is targeted to be completed by Summer 2017.
