Here’s Penny Two-Cents…..

A few months ago I was looking forward to a trip to Boston to see the band Earth Wind and Fire. I was standing in my closet when the infamous words “I have nothing to wear” reverberated throughout the house. My husband was in a cute mood so he suggested I pick some things from his closet. Though a generous offer – it was quickly declined. The following day I discovered the boutique She’s the One. On a daily basis I noticed the store, but I’d never actually walked in. Always on the run as a realtor, I foolishly never took the time. Remember the line from Pretty Woman? BIG MISTAKE!

The shirt in the window drew me in and from that day forward I’ve been hooked. The store is located at 7100 Fairway Drive next to our real estate office and State Farm. Ellen Onofrietto, co-owner along with her husband Rocco, is wonderful to deal with. She and her employees bend over backwards to get to know you to make your shopping experience nothing less than fabulous.

This is their second store and has been open for 15 months. The other one’s in Wellington and has a significant following. Ellen mentioned that many of her Wellington clients were residents of BallenIsles and Mirasol who “convinced’ her to open a store in PBG. After some investigation, Ellen realized that Palm Beach Gardens was in need of a clothing boutique such as hers and the rest is… history!

Ellen’s shop stands out from other boutiques because women of all ages and multi generations shop here. “Some of my clients are 20 years old and some are 80 plus…I love it! If women want to be styled we are happy to give them the full boutique experience. My team and I know how to put people together to look and feel their very best.” Additionally Ellen never buys more than 4 pieces of the same item so you never have to worry about showing up at an event and having someone else wearing your new outfit.

When asked what’s popular this season, Ellen replied “pink and olive are hot colors and camouflage and wide legged crop pants are also trending”. Be sure to provide your email the next time you shop in the store to get 20% off an entire purchase in your birthday month. Tell your spouse, boyfriend and friends that they can purchase gift certificates. The next big store promotion will be Mother’s Day and if you want to have a private party – they do this too! Store hours are Mon-Sat 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM but summer hours are shorter.
