Don’t be that guy! You know…the one that goes around their agent to talk directly to a buyer or seller. My very first sale involved a man that could not help themselves. They reached out to the selling broker and tried to plead that a riding mower and a motorcycle were included in the deal that we had previously negotiated. We had an executed contract, and they went behind my back to try to get something more out of the deal. This behavior will not only create a ton of tension in the transaction, but if there are any real issues that come up (they almost defaulted twice thereafter,) then the folks on the other side will more than likely let you implode and take your escrow rather than help.
