My favorite client is one of my first. Tony Cairo gave me an opportunity when I first started in 2001. I sold his estate in 2 weeks and found him a great condo right after that. About 6 weeks ago, I closed on the condo I sold Tony in 2001. Tony is now 90 years old. He has the optimism and energy of a 30 year old. I called Tony up last week just to see how he was doing. He is fine. I said, “I’d ask if this virus reminds of you anything but you are too young.” Tony laughed and said, “Well, it kind of does. 1941, Pearl Harbor. The fear and rations were very similar. And we overcame and America will bounce back!” Meet Tony here!

Being a Realtor is about people. One on one. I always ask a new client to tell me about themselves. What do you like to do? What is your family like? Hobbies? What made you choose Florida? Ask the questions and you’ll get the answers and I’ve met a lot of Tony Cairo’s along the way.
This past week has been about serving our community. Our Echo Fine Properties team including super agents Abe Kamor , Andrew Levy, and Dara Dickinson (and many more agents) went out and helped deliver food and medicine to the elderly.
We took our existing video department and are with the help of agents like Suzanne Slate and Sylvia Isaacs creating and will continue to create videos for local businesses, free of charge. LOCAL COMMUNITY is about promoting our community. And if you or someone you know has a local business, call me or email me and we will feature it at no charge.
My 16 year old daughter Jade told me to quit watching the news. That prompted me to do a show called, “A Bit Of Sunshine From The Sunshine State.” All about positive energy . Easy exercises for Seniors, meditation guru Tyler Bendeson (son of our agent Adam Bendeson), my daughter doing a segment called Young School to Old School, and my son giving tech tips to Seniors. I got started and so did our team. We got to work and have implemented maybe 5 years of new technology in 2 weeks. I told our brokerage you are all in a new movie called “Little”. “Little” is the opposite of “Big”. Tom Hanks got his wish from Zoltar to be a grownup. In Echo’s version of “Little”, we all get to be 10 years old and have fun with new things. We will all be teaching our children and grandchildren. Tomorrow we have 9 Virtual Open Houses scheduled – we have worked to find a work-around so that we can present these homes while keeping everybody safe. Our agents are actually at home and presenting homes in a VR World! Jeff’s famous emoji Cookies 🍪 will be served!
