Homestead is the second largest city in Miami Dade County located just 30 miles south of Miami. The city was incorporated in 1913 and is known for being an agricultural city, it’s all about the great outdoors here. Biscayne National Park is also close by and offers underwater experiences, as well as a park that can only be explored by boat, there is also a shaded beach adjoining the park.
South Florida is known for its attractions, golf courses, high end shopping, and gorgeous year-round weather. There is plenty to do in Homestead and it’s the perfect place to raise a family in the suburbs of Miami with many top-rated schools.
