Buccan – Buccan has only been open since 2011, but quickly established itself as a favorite restaurant and night life hot spot on Palm Beach Island. Buccan has traditional large entrees, but the preferred way to enjoy this award winning eatery is a few small plates. The best items on the menu, (and what I order almost every time), are the short rib empanadas, the steak tartar, the pork tacos, and any pizza they have. The Asian inspired restaurant next door, Imoto, is owned by the same company so feel free to order off Imoto’s menu as well if you have a craving for Peking Duck Tacos, or a Tuna and Foie Gras Slider.

Insider Tips: Sit at the large large wooden high top table called “the community table”. It’s first come first serve, plus you’ll making new friends in no time. For lunch go to Buccan’s sandwich shop around the corner that is open seven days a week.. They have a steak tartar sandwich, and yes, it’s amazing. My other favorite sandwiches are the prosciutto caprese, and the cuban. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing as well.
