Communities with Executive Golf Courses

An executive golf course is a shortened golf course that’s part of the regular 18-hole course – and there are a few differences between these courses and the typical golf course. Mainly, the differences are the length of holes and the par distance. The average par for a regular golf course is 71-72 for a regular 18-hole round, whereas for an executive course it’s more in the low 60’s. Plus, on a regular course, the average length is around 6,700 for 18-holes, whereas an executive course is around or below 5,200. This means an executive course is shorter and less time consuming to play. It has the same idea as a par-3 course, but the executive course offers par 4’s and the occasional par 5.
