Admirals Cove Cares – Showing Concern For Others

Jupiter’s premier waterfront community has always been Admirals Cove.  Located on the Intracoastal Waterway, Admirals Cove has miles of quiet homesites where you keep your boat behind your house.

Now, as we face difficult economic times, it’s nice to know that the residents of Admirals Cove are giving financially back to the community through the Admirals Cove Cares Charitable Foundation.

Founded in 2004, the Foundation is dedicated to providing aid to worthy civic, cultural, education, social and health-related non-profit institutions within Palm Beach County.

In 2005 and 2007, the Foundation’s Charity Weekend raised more than $730,000. To date, the Admiral’s Cove Cares Charity Foundation has awarded more than $1 million to charities in Jupiter, Fla. and Palm Beach County.  And with charitable giving way down from past years, these charities need help.

In 2009, they raised $350,000 from their biennial Charity Weekend. Recipients included donations to Hospice of Palm Beach, Loxahatchee River Historical Society, MacArthur Beach State Park, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Jupiter Hospital, Adopt-a Family and Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary and Hospital, among others.
