This is an ideal that Alexandra Castrillon’s grandmother used to inspire her with every day while she was growing up, all while cooking her delicious corn arepas. ¡Delicioso! Abuelita Maria, the woman who raised Alexandra is both her greatest hero and her greatest teacher. Now well into her nineties, Abuelita Maria is a self-made success story and a prime example of the American Dream come true! An immigrant from Columbia, Abuelita Maria immediately got to work at the factory and used her income to become a well-respected investor. From a young age, Alexandra picked up on her abuelita’s impeccable work ethic and resourcefulness. She applies the life lessons that Abuelita Maria taught her into everything she does, especially in Real Estate.

Above tennis and reading, Alexandra never misses a routine yoga session, as yoga is a way to strengthen both her mind and her body. Alexandra’s success can be attributed to two key factors: Finding strength on both the inside and the outside, and living by Abuelita Maria’s advice of continuing to dream and never accepting defeat!
