Monica Parker has a great resume. Before Real Estate, she worked in sales, customer service, education (she earned a degree in Chemistry before teaching it), and the landscape industry in which she owned a business with her husband for 20 years. Chemistry is a science that identifies how matter is composed and looks at how the properties combine and change to form new substances. It’s also the complex emotional interaction between two people. Need we say more? There is nothing more complex than the emotional state of buyers, sellers, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, insurance agents, and closing companies. Her background is perfect!
Besides the amazing weather and beautiful beaches, Monica loves the people in the Port St. Lucie and Martin County area. “I have not met a person yet who wasn’t kind, willing to help, or just a pleasure to speak to.” Monica inherited her sunny and contagious disposition from her folks. Her parents provided her with a fun-filled childhood that she now provides for her own children. "Family trips and new experiences are a requirement in my family." Monica believes that fun & creativity helps her brain successfully respond to any type of situation such as rejection, confrontation, emergencies, and danger. It allows her to see the overall picture and allows her to provide the most appropriate response to any situation to earn your sale.
Monica says her work ethic also comes from her parents. “Although my parents' finances enabled them to provide for my needs and wants, they made me responsible for most of my wants. I started working at the age of 14 as a pianist for a local church.” Even though child labor laws were probably not followed at that time, Monica was paid enough to buy two pairs of very expensive sneakers each month that her parents would not supply!
EINSTEIN, TYLER PERRY, SNOOP DOG, AND REAL ESTATE!
Monica’s previous jobs in teaching & customer service taught her how to help others with patience, kindness, and compassion. She is excellent at identifying different personalities, and this is the foundation of negotiation. Understanding what people want, what appeals to them, and being able to predict their reaction is how she negotiates. Monica admires Einstein for his out of the box problem solving. Tyler Perry in Atlanta (where she resided for many years) because he would do things without wanting recognition. But as Snoop Dogg once said, “I want to thank me!” In Monica’s words “I am my biggest inspiration because I understand that I am the person required to complete the work to gain the success that I desire.” In Real Estate the success Monica wants is your success. If you want a great real estate outcome combining all the elements that go into a purchase or sale of a home, hiring Monica will be perfect chemistry!
