My Top 10 Restaurants in Jupiter and Juno Beach Seaside

My Top 10 Restaurants in Jupiter and Juno Beach Seaside

Over the years I have probably eaten at all if not most of the eateries in Jupiter and Juno by the beach. Being from New York I can be a little critical, but every restaurant has its purpose. I have categories like: “Casual”, “Super Casual”, “Flip-flop Casual”, “Hearty Brunch”, “Old School Breakfast”, “Down Home Lunch”, and “Local-Local Eateries” where I take clients when I want to give them the local experience.

Here are my Top 10 favorites that I published on my “Best of Jupiter and Juno Beach Seaside” Facebook page on an interactive map with locations and contact info. You can also find upcoming local events, resident profiles, community information, local news and fun stuff to do. You can find my page here – https://www.facebook.com/bestofjupiterandjunobeach/

You can find the interactive list here. You’ll have to click the link for addresses and contact info – http://bit.ly/top10jupiterandjuno

  1. U-Tiki Beach – Sushi, salads, wraps to lobster rolls, you can’t miss. Of course the view of the Jupiter inlet with boats passing by is great. Day or night the view of the Lighthouse is iconic.
  1. Dune Dog Café – Great casual outdoor dinning. It’s got more than just Hot Dogs, but you gotta start there. Great fish, chicken, fish and chips, burgers, ribs all for very reasonable prices. *Shoes not required.

  1. Parisian Restaurant and Wine Bar – Real French food from a real classically trained French chef from France!!! No nonsense fantastic French food. Plus it has a great wine list.
  1. Tommy Bahama Restaurant – Believe it or not T.B. Restaurant is fantastic. Burgers, salads, and great fish. The bar is not so bad either! Flavorful tropical drinks. Whether eating inside or out, you feel the intracoastal on your back.

  1. Food Shack – Most of you know Food Shack. But for those who don’t, don’t let the non-descript location fool you. Yeah, you might have to wait for a table, but it’s worth it. It has everythinggg!!!
  1. Dive Bar – Dedicates itself to outdoor dinning and FISH. Sushi, Seafood, Shellfish, and some southern favorites, plus a nice craft beer selection. Great for dining at dusk.
  1. Lazy Loggerhead Café – Diner-y. Breakfast bounty. Just what a strong growing belly needs in the morning. All the cholesterol-based breakfast foods you can ask for.
  1. Chowderheads – Ok, so the name’s got “Chowder” in it so you might think Clam Chowder is the way to go. Don’t get me wrong it’s good, but the Lobster Roll is unrivaled and has been voted “Best of” in Palm Beach County. Low-key dining.
  1. Hurricane Café – Just what the website says, “Contemporary American Cuisine” and great at it. You name it, they have it, and do great flatbread and thin crust pizza too. (My client’s bought the chef’s home in 2016).

  1. Juno Beach Café – Best low-key brunch by the beach. Pancakes, Waffles, Eggs Benedict, Crepes, Breakfast Quesadillas, this place has everything breakfast. (*Whenever I have morning showings in Juno Beach, I always make 45 minute break to treat clients for breakfast.)

Jupiter Country Club – Cay Café Grand Opening Luau

January 30th, 2017

Jupiter Country Club – Cay Café Grand Opening Luau

Jupiter Country Club recently celebrated the grand opening of the newly refreshed Cay Café with a Hawaiian-themed luau party. After valet parking, members were greeted with a floral lei and a delicious tropical punch (rum or non-alcoholic). The scene was lively where the DJ drew people to the dance floor between the two resort-style pools. Members dined on passed hors d’oeurves and at multiple food stations: paella, skewers, sliders, roasted Hawaiian style pig, desserts and doughnuts. Refreshments were available at two tiki bars and the indoor bar in the Cay Café. Hawaiian-themed props were available for the photo booth for some extra fun. What a way to kick off the season!

What’s Planned for February 2017 in Abacoa?

January 30th, 2017

What’s Planned for February 2017 in Abacoa?

Exciting new happenings in Abacoa are being planned.  I had the pleasure of speaking with the Abacoa POA after an incredible turnout for the January Lunch and Learn.

Laurie Boaz, Community Association Manager for the Abacoa Master Association, coordinates with the town and county to maintain all of Abacoa.  She is currently busy getting the community’s trees trimmed, mulching and having sidewalks pressure washed for all of Abacoa. She is also in the midst of arranging installation of the newly appointed directional signage that were just approved. They look great!

Tere Muniz, Community Relations Director is the liason between residents and businesses in Abacoa.  As we continue to get new tenants, Tere is consistently planning new events to make it easy to network  and meet neighbors in Abacoa. Check out the February 2017 Abacoa POA calendar.  In Q2, the mobile friendly website for Abaoca is being launched so we can all see what’s happening in Abacoa on the go.

Want To Know All About The Exciting New Plans?

Abacoa Open House

See You  February 9th  4:00 – 7:00pm at the Abacoa Golf Club

The Town of Jupiter and the Abacoa Property Owner’s Assembly will host an open house style meeting focused on Abacoa. Representatives will be looking to get public comments and ideas concerning some exciting new plans for Abaoca.

There is an application in on the vacant lot next door to the Marriott. Jupiter-based Frank Family Entertainment Group, owners of Revolutions in CityPlace and Cinebowl & Grille in Delray Marketplace have a similar entertainment center planned for the space. The Frank Entertainment Center will include a movie theater, bowling alley and new restaurants. Bringing back an entertainment center will be a boost for the community. Stadium improvements, safety issues for Central Blvd, Biotech Industry planning are just a few more topics to be discussed in this open forum. Tell your friends and neighbors!  Hope to see you all there.

Also in February, rated one of the best festivals in 2017, ArtiGras!

Be sure to stop by the JeffRealty booth and get your picture with our For Sale & Sold Dresses!

The Newly Renovated Keystone Community

January 30th, 2017

The Newly Renovated Keystone Community

When you ask any resident of the Keystone community how they like the neighborhood, the glowing reviews come pouring out: It’s such a peaceful community, the neighbors have become close friends, I’ve lived here for 30 years and will never leave, the community is beautifully maintained. And then, in the midst of these conversations, over and over I get the same name drop and a finger pointed to her door: “You have to go see Arlene.”

What I’ve learned is Arlene is the Queen Bee of Keystone to say the least. A resident of the community since 2005, she’s been on the HOA Board for the past ten years, and President of the HOA since 2015. Boy has she been busy, too. I asked Arlene what being President of the HOA entails, and she proceeded to give me a laundry list of upgrades put into place since during her reign. In the last two years, the roads in the community were paved, and the sidewalks have been power-washed. All the buildings in the community have been freshly painted, and new outdoor lights on each landing installed. They’ve replaced the mailboxes and even the dumpster doors! And of course, the clubhouse id receiving the treatment- with renovated bathrooms, and a brand new pool! The next part is the kicker- this was all done without a special assessment or a single extra penny paid by the residents! Arlene confirms that reserves are always full so the community remains in a stable position, and this at only a $20 quarterly cost to Keystone residents.

It’s not just about maintaining appearances however, there’s genuine friendships made in Keystone, thanks to the many events held in the clubhouse. At any given time you can find invitations posted around the neighborhood for year-round events: Thanksgiving and Christmas parties for those who don’t have family close-by. Chef Mike, who used to own a restaurant up north, pulls together shrimp and prime rib dinners in the clubhouse. One of the neighbors somehow ended up with a plethora of beans, so the new Bean & Ham Dinner Event was created. And what to plan for next? The Superbowl party coming up with all the h’orderves and fixins expected.

What I’ve gathered from my time in Keystone is that if you’re looking for an affordable new home, where you know your home’s value will maintain, and where you can actually be part of a community, then Keystone is the place for you!
