Bricktop’s is Coming to PBG!!

Bricktop’s is coming to Palm Beach Gardens in February.  Have you eaten at the Palm Beach Island location yet?

The Bar Scene is buzzing and the food is great.  In my opinion, it the new Palm Beach Grill.  We tried the tuna tartare for appetizer paired with martinis.  Ribs served with tasty fries and slaw were phenomenal.  Hope to see you there!

Meet Brian Chamis, Sommelier, Wine Expert for Cafe Chardonnay

On a recent visit to one of our favorite restaurants that I had visited in quite some time, I was reminded as to why we like it so much.  At Café Chardonnay, located just minutes from home, everyone is always greeted with a smile and always enjoy listening to Sommelier, Brian Chamis, and his extensive knowledge of wine. Quite amazing actually. You will find Brian behind the bar usually talking to equally excited patrons. Check out the wine list!

The atmosphere is surprisingly sophisticated with its soft lighting, warm woods, unique light fixtures and cozy banquets.  There are two levels for dining and I find the upper level to be a bit quieter and a little more romantic too.

Perhaps most important is the food and it is truly consistently good, innovative and always evolving. I happen to be an Oso Bucco fan and they prepare this dish perfectly.  They recently even added Oso Bucco ravioli to the menu as an appetizer but was wonderful for a meal for me.  Love the wild mushroom strudel too, their creative salads and their varied entrees that include fresh fish and everything from Lamb, steak and even an Elk chop.

Recently my aunt and uncle came from New Zealand to visit. My uncle is launching an upscale wine export business from New Zealand and so of course we had to go to Café Chardonnay. Brian got the first taste of some unique wines not yet offered here. I have a feeling he does that a lot.

Café Chardonnay is located 4533 PGA Blvd, just west of I95 on the north side in Palm Beach Gardens.  This time of year you need a reservation so call 561-627-2662.

New Developments in Jupiter

New Developments in Jupiter

Three six-story residential buildings, about as tall as Harbourside Place and almost twice as high as the town code allows, are proposed on the west side of Intracoastal Waterway just north of Indiantown Road in Jupiter.

Plans for a marina with private docks for residents, a clubhouse, a recreation area with a cabana and pool and an underground parking garage have been submitted for the project, to be called Fisherman’s Wharf.

The proposed gated development would have buildings about 74 feet high. Each would have 12 units.

The tallest building at Harbourside Place, located on the other side of the Intracoastal Waterway from the development, is about 60 feet, according to Jupiter records.

The plan must be reviewed by the town’s planning and zoning commission and then approved by the town council before construction can begin.

With all the attractions already here and the new developments soon to come, you may want to find a new vacation condo or home to spend the harsh northern winter season here in paradise. There are several different communities walking distance to the new attractions here in Jupiter including, Jupiter Dunes, The EstuaryJupiter Yacht Club and several more. With prices starting around $200,000 up to over a million we can find that perfect Jupiter condo for you.
