Although Jupiter is a small town of only about 50,000 mostly seasonal residents, it is an affluent area due to its proximity to the ocean, great climate and good schools. But one issue facing folks buying their first home is finding affordable housing. One place that makes buying your first house possible is Eastview Manor.
Homes in Eastview Manor are some of the most centrally located in Town and some of the first to be constructed when Jupiter was first “discovered” in the 1960’s. Here, modest three bedroom, two bath homes with either one or two baths have between 1,200 and 1,700 square feet of living space. Located on the north side of Indiantown Road, our major artery, the streets of Eastview Manor are laid out so traffic moves slowly and there is little, if any, “cut through” traffic. This makes the area appealing residents with small children and pets.
You might consider a home here if you have school age children since most schools are Jupiter’s famous “A” rated schools and all are close by. Other amenities close by are the Town Hall, the North County Aquatic Center, the Public Library, the Jupiter Medical Center and the Post Office.
Beach life is part of the Jupiter lifestyle and our miles of free and clean beaches are just a 5 minute drive to the east. Here, the Jupiter Inlet flows in from the ocean and creates a shallow and safe lagoon at Dubois Park. This lagoon is always a favorite with families on summer days. At the mouth of the Inlet, a jetty allows fishing in the Atlantic for snapper and snook. Further south, you will find the Jupiter Beach Park, Carlin Park with the Lazy Loggerhead restaurant and our “dog friendly” beaches.
